Lining Fabric Yellow

Lining Fabric Yellow has as properties antistatic, light, soft, smooth, firm and has a silky shine and is not stretchable. This material is very similar to natural silk and is very flexible, hardly shrinks or wrinkles and dries quickly. In addition, acetate allows air and sweat to pass through. Acetate absorbs moisture much better than other synthetic fibers.

Lining Fabric Yellow is very suitable for use as a lining for fabrics that do not stretch. If you want to assess the quality and/or the color, it is possible to order a separate sample. In addition to acetate lining, we also have stretch lining and quilted lining.

Is the outer material of your project sturdy enough? Or is the surface rough and you can't move comfortably in it? Does the fabric you use shine through? Then lining fabric is the solution. A lining fabric not only gives that little bit extra for a nice finish, but has a number of properties that make the fabric so well suited as a lining. These fabrics are smooth, supple and contribute to the durability of your garment. The outer fabric wears less quickly due to the extra layer.

Lining fabric is a smooth and movable fabric, so it shifts quickly. It is therefore advisable to place it on a cotton cloth or non-slip mat when cutting the fabric. This keeps the fabric in place. Instead of securing the pattern with pins, secure it with tape or double-sided tape. This prevents small holes in the fabric. For the yarn it is recommended to use high quality Gütermann sew-all thread and if u use a sewing machine the Overlock thread.
